My family friendly relaxed style allows me to capture your personality, beauty, and emotion. I focus on getting real images with natural expressions and strive to make the portraits unique and individual. I specialize in on-location portraiture because I feel there is no better backdrop than nature. Most sessions are shot outdoors, late afternoon or early evening using available light. However, maternity, newborn, and infant pictures can also be set up at your home.

A pre-session consultation is important so that we can discuss your ideal portraits. Through this consultation, I will get to know you, your family, and your expectations. We can agree on a location of your choice. If you are undecided, I will have spots to propose. I can also guide you in choosing appropriate clothing to keep the session creative, comfortable, and fun. I am open to--and encourage--your ideas and suggestions.

All sessions include unlimited digital exposures; I will take as many shots as are necessary for a bountiful selection of both candid and posed portraits. Within two weeks after a shoot, you will receive a proof CD with low-resolution images from which to choose. I will also ask all clients to sign a Copyright Notice and Model Release at this time. Ordered images will remain on file for one year from the date of your session. I keep unordered images on file for 30 days from initial order.

As a special note, I ask that you please do not copy or reproduce my images in any way, including copying, transmitting, downloading, saving as a digital file, or linking to, without the written permission of the photographer. It is illegal and just not nice.
